Face Lift Surgery

This type of surgery can take 3-10 hours depending on the technique and what is going to be done. It is possible to go home the same day, but it is usually convenient to stay in hospital for 1 night. Additional procedures (nose, eyelid, etc.) can be performed in the same session. Face lift surgery is traceless. The traces of surgery are not apparent. Surgical scars are hidden in the scalp, in front of and behind the ear. If surgery is performed under the chin, a 3-5 mm surgical scar remains under the chin. If the eyelid and forehead are stretched, small marks remain on the eyelids and forehead. Postoperative
The postoperative period is usually comfortable. The percentage may be a general swelling and bruising, numbness and tension. As the nerves in the face may be affected slightly by anesthesia, there may be some changes in the face. They pass by themselves within 3-5 days. The eyes, nose and mouth are wrapped around the face to be left open. The cheeks are made of cold pad. The winding opens completely after 2-3 days. General inspection and dressing change is made. Hair can be washed during this period. If the stitches are not melted type, they are taken after 5-7 days.
